I was wondering if I could ask you a question. It actually in part relates to self-hypnosis and a community I'm interested in exploring. I'm at a crossroads and thinking if I should look into this more. I'm very conscious now of expending energy on whims and have been sitting this on a while. Would love to see what the cards say about this community wellness idea.
Thanks for your question! I'm going to answer your question in two parts, since you are considering more than one aspect of this direction you're contemplating. First of all, I pulled a card about the community and you received the Ace of Pentacles. The Ace of Pentacles can mean a new business or career opportunity. This might mean there is an investment of time and resources but this also could be a goal of making your connection to this community into a new source of income. With this card, there is hard work, dedication, an investment, and consistent effort over time that would go into this venture. At the same time, if you have passion for the idea, this card signifies a beginning that could be rewarding.
You also asked about self-hypnosis, so I drew a follow-up card about that since the answer might not be the same. You got The Chariot Reversed. This only reflects a message about where this part of the wellness idea is for you right now. If you take a new action, the circumstances and card could change. So what does this card mean about self-hypnosis? Is self-hypnosis a part of a community wellness idea you'd like to pursue as a business? Is it part of a community you're thinking of joining? Or is it both? Whichever it may be, I'm going to read this card as a message about either joining or forming a community.
This card in its reversed position can be about the need to take action. A chariot in reverse is like a vehicle going backwards because it doesn't have the necessary directions yet. It's not sure where it's headed. Have you outlined your goals for this idea?
If you have, did you think about the small steps you can take right now to get it started?
Sometimes a community or mentor can give that direction. This card says you would need an expert in this area, such as a mentor, director, or teacher. Someone who knows how to drive the chariot because they've experienced positive movement forward in this area before. I am not sure what your involvement is in hypnosis so far, but if it's going to be part of your continued studies, I would look for instructors who are certified hypnotherapists and who attended accredited institutions. Perhaps you are already doing that.
If you're hiring someone to teach you or to teach others in the business you are creating, look into how they earned their credentials, if you haven't already. Once you find instructors (whether you want to take a course or offer one as part of your community), you can talk to them about what they feel is the difference between hypnosis and guided meditation. What does hypnosis and self-hypnosis offer that meditation doesn't? Many people can offer guided meditations but hypnosis is a specialised skill. According to this card, working with experts who know how to direct people in developing their self-hypnosis skills will be an asset for you.
Financially, The Chariot Reversed can be a warning not to rush into something. At the same time, if you have the time or the means, this card is about taking action if you have been sitting on an idea for a while but haven't yet shared it with the world.
Keep in mind that the Ace of Pentacles is a positive card, and that was about the overall community. The Chariot Reversed indicates that in the area of self-hypnosis, there is still research and work to be done before that can move forward. You might need to call in some help to develop that part of your plan.
Just to be clear, when you say you're interested in exploring a community, are you only thinking of creating one of your own, or are you also considering joining a community? You mentioned an idea so it seems creating a business is at least part of this. Is there more to your plans that you were asking about? If you can send me a little clarification I might be able to interpret the cards a little further. :)
Thanks Kyra, your cards as always make perfect sense. The women's community would focus on wellness, so I'm pleased I got the Ace of Pentacles. I've been sitting on this idea for a few years.
I've been exploring meditation teacher training and have been looking into self-hypnosis wondering if this could be a potential offering for this community. The cost for either training is substantial, so I have been on the fence. And as your card suggests, perhaps the direction of the community needs to be outlined first.
I've wanted to create a community for women that can connect for a while. I've had a few iterations of the direction and reason for connecting. I'm interested in self-hypnosis but I also like the idea of exploring meditation as a tool within this community if it takes shape.
The Chariot reversed is spot on, and you have given me a reason to pause and reflect.

My pleasure, Anon! I'm glad to know that the reading made sense and hope it will help. :)
