How interesting that you had the dream about the President falling ill just days before it was announced he had COVID. I hope we can be spared the trauma of losing him to strokes or whatever, and the aftermath, though I feel the V.P. could and would step up to the challenge.
Still pulling and believing in a blue wave for midterms. The dems seem to be figuring out how to get around the republicans, and the majority of the country is against what the Supreme Court has done, and the latest hit t.v. show is the Jan. 6 hearings. Guess I have to believe in it.
On a personal note, I’m noticing that my daily morning tarot pulls are showing cards that seem to coincide either a day or two before or after your weekly cards, the last being The Hermit. So thank you for the explanation. It happened on a day when I absolutely had to be out and about and was a bit nervous about how things would go. Walking in the dark, with a light to show the way and the support I needed, actually was quite right on the mark.
Also, I know you’ve talked about predictive dreams previously, but I’ve had dreams, actually more like nightmares, where I was in a war scenario, with people being bombed, or killed; or school buses overturning, or people screaming at me to go through a door. I’ve been told by a very spiritual friend that these are “work” I’ve been asked to do, that they can actually prevent such things from happening somewhere to others. Does this ring true with you?
Yes, I hope he will be okay. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing about the cards you've been getting in your readings.
In terms of predictive dreams, they can be symbolic, literal, or a combination of the two. If your dream has all or many of the qualities that tend to define precognitive dreaming (including the phase of your dream cycle when it occurred), it still could be symbolic. Even if some of the events are specific to future possibilities, they could occur over a long period of time. Clues in the dream can show if those events recap the past, anticipate the future, or both. Is this dream connected to the work you are being asked to do? If violence and war are concerning to you, if that is on your mind and these themes are areas where you could offer your abilities, it makes sense that you would have a calling to help reduce violent conflict. So many of the world's problems originate from violence and aggression so there could be multiple causes where you would be of service.
The specific cause or area of a cause will be something that feels right in your heart and where you have something to offer, whether based on your natural ability or knowledge you've learned. Are there news articles of certain themes you are drawn to again and again, certain issues that resonate with you and concern you? Or is there a special ability you have that would be needed by a cause? When there is a combination of ability and passion that aligns with your values, that could give you a clue. From there, see if that cause resonates with your dreams. Right now, everything depends on the climate crisis so your help and everyone's help is needed in that area, but there are many ways to go about it, including emotional healing, the arts, fighting for justice, educating, and more. Everyone has something to offer to that cause and it's the foundation of all other causes. What happens with the climate and environment will determine the outcome of everything else. I hope that helps. Thanks for your question!
Hi Kyra, that was such an interesting post, particularly about ancient diseases. I really hope not, but I also agree, this is not the time for despair but action. It's a bit of a losing fight in Australia on the COVID front which has been disappointing. Lots of us are sounding the alarm on twitter and sharing stories, and statistics but none of it is being reported. Australia has just become the country in the world with the highest deaths per million people in the world. It's just insane.
It leads me to my question for the month. Since Covid I have been increasingly restless, or feeling claustrophobic being at home so much. We have been pretty much working from home for three years now (and grateful to have been so lucky to be employed during these hard times). Life has really changed though, and we don't see many people anymore. We pretty much live as we did during lockdown as covid runs rampant.
I keep looking at property to buy, and feel like a sea change (although I have always been a city person) but now I find myself craving change. I wonder what you see with our housing situation? Do you see us moving? I spend hours looking at different areas and houses, but nothing *feels right*. I can't explain it. It would be better for my career to maybe stay put, but since I haven't been in the office, perhaps that is silly. I would really appreciate your insight into what you see for us.
Hi Chup, I hope not, too. Just to be clear, the notion of reawakening ancient diseases wasn't my own prediction. While it's been speculated amongst scientists, it's a theory. The release of greenhouse gasses such as C02 or methane into the atmosphere due to permafrost thawing is a concern. And yes, the most responsible thing we can do is to act now on ameliorating further warming with every possible tool we have.
There is so much we are learning from the trial and error of pandemic responses. Hopefully, those lessons can be applied to the climate emergency as we'll have had experience with adapting to a previous crisis. It's understandable to feel restless after a prolonged period of confinement. I'm sorry to hear that you've had to be isolated for such a long time. The card I pulled for you to answer your question about housing and a possible move is the Page of Wands. This card definitely indicates an exciting adventure in your future. The page is socially and spiritually inclined and can be an advocate for important causes. The page points to someone who is deeply social, perhaps even extroverted. This pandemic has been especially challenging for extroverts, and whether you identify as one or not, you are being presented in this card as someone who values connection and meeting new people of different cultures.
The wands suit is associated with fire signs: creativity, spontaneity, and energy. Particularly with Sagittarius, there is a need to roam and explore. However, the Page of Wands is also associated with Aries. Aries encourages conviction, in this case feeling confident about your instincts.
There is a reason why the places and houses you're looking at don't feel right. This card demonstrates that you will know clearly when it is time to move. When you do, the house and area will align with your needs and goals and you will feel enthusiasm for your choice. It looks like it is outside a city even if it is close to one, and there is a garden. It seems peaceful and quiet but there are animals nearby. It feels very different from what you're used to but offers a variety of landscapes and there is lots to do. In some way, this new place will take you to other places. However, it isn't ready or available yet. This card indicates it's not time for a major change, but it is a perfect time to dream of what your next transformative action will be. You can have fun with imagining what that might look like, which is part of the joy of change. Now is a time to let your dreams take flight, knowing the signs will be there, clearly and loudly, when the right opportunity for a move comes across your path. Keep exploring. Cheers! :)
Thanks Kyra. That's so interesting, my husband is a sag and the sound of somewhere close, but with space and lots to do sounds perfect. I wouldn't say I'm an extrovert, especially after the last three years, but I do love people, and I am definitely spiritually inclined. We used to travel a lot, and it's used to be a big part of my identity and something we both connected with as a couple. In fact, I'm so glad we did as much travel as we could because I don't think the world will ever be the same. I'm excited by the prospect of a new adventure—time to start dreaming when and where this new place might arrive!
By the way, I hope the Presidential dream does not come true. I report dreams and tarot card readings as I see them and sometimes what comes up is not what I would want but premonitions in card readings or dreams are beyond our control. I've learned that it's better to be upfront about warnings than to edit out the parts of a reading I don't like or that other people might not want to hear.
Kyra-
