I'm reading your climate crisis predictions article from 2019 today, Jessica. I'm glad you've been writing about this, and that you're continuing to speak up about the climate emergency. I don't think there's anything more important that authors and speakers could be doing right now. You're helping to persuade people to become climate activists.
Amazing we've both been on strike every Friday since September 2019, Kyra: #FridaysForFuture sinks in with repetition. I'm really hopeful for the UN Water Conference in New York in March 2023, which is uncannily (!) timed for Pluto's ingress in Aquarius.
We have to do all we can to save the ones that are left. It is not yet "set in stone", so to speak. That means there is room for free will. It is still possible to save many species but as you know, more are becoming endangered every day. The best we can do is speak up for those who have no voice, and do all we can to advocate for them. The sooner we act on the climate crisis through degrowth and by leaving fossil fuels in the ground, the more species we can save. Saving other species also saves ourselves. We are all interdependent in our various ecosystems. It is not just karma when we defend or save other species (including plants), although it is karmic, too. In a very direct way, and beyond karma, keeping endangered species alive will be necessary for our own physical survival.
Thanks so much Kyra.

Will endangered species be saved?
