HI Kyra,

I found the dream about Harry interesting. I follow Jessica Adams also and her theories about Russia being involved and this being part of a much more complex puzzle. I'm not sure if you saw the horses that escaped in London covered in blood? Symbolic and a nice link to your dream. I did read a theory, so out there that I read it and thought maybe it could be something as farfetched as Kate having a forced abortion and Williams involvement in a crime. It sounds crazy, but I do think that what is really happening is far more cloak and daggers than we are being told.

I was wondering if I could ask you to pull a tarot for me for the next month. I don't have a specific question, just really seeking a signpost of what's to come.

Thanks kindly.

Hi Anon,

Yes, there are bound to be theories when not all the information is available. I recommend continuing to read what Jessica writes about this. I think you're right about the other ones you mentioned being farfetched, and that there's more to this than we can see right now.

This month I pulled the Hierophant for you! This major card can be about seeking or receiving a blessing, connecting with a spiritual institution, or being grounded in a tradition or spiritual practise. This is like a more masculine version of the High Priestess, and you can see there is a priest with two worhippers in the image. This card brings an opportunity to deepen spiritual beliefs. It can rule traditional institutions that connect you with people who share your values, possibly some of whom recognise a similar higher purpose. This card can be ruled by Taurus, so sometimes that higher purpose or those values are connected to nature and animal companions. On a practical level, this card can indicate practical management (finance, household, etc.). Spiritually, The Hierophant conducts ceremonies and rituals (as you can see from the two monks or devotees who seek guidance from the priest). Your connection to (and possibly signs from) a higher realm may come from animals and spending time in a natural setting this month. The ritual or times/spaces for relaxed contemplation could be outdoors, or even visualisation that incorporates outdoor settings into meditations on nature. :)

Happy May,

Kyra

Dear Kyra,

Wow! There's so much to unpack in your May prediction that I could write an entire dissertation here, but don't worry, I promise I'll focus. :P

Firstly, I've been following Marianne Williamson for a while, and even though she doesn't seem to have gained enough traction to go against the titans of the US two-party system, I wonder if she has any chances (even if not to win the presidency) to somehow enact structural change into US American politics through her own campaigning. I find her quite fascinating, as she brings back discussion on some of the social issues in the US previously delved into by third-party presidential hopeful Jill Stein, but she also seems to be one of the only US presidential candidates to be very explicit about their spiritual beliefs in connection with their politics. This seems to echo a lot of the current themes under Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, shifting not only material values on currency and property from the past two decades into a more spiritual strata, but also in questioning a morale that has seemed to imbue US American politics with what's been heavily connected to what Williamson calls "the erosion of the middle class in the United States".

On the other hand, here in my current country of residency, Germany, I have been witnessing the rise of the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD), which is believed by many to become much more prominent in the next election cycle here in the country in 2025. As I have left my home country of Brazil almost a decade ago due to experiencing in the flesh the rise of neofascist movements, I have myself started to plan a move to London, as my reasoning suggests a softer ground to land there, having already dealt (or at least being in the process of dealing) with Brexit and its aftermath. I have also noticed, as a migrant, that Germany created a sort of "marketing language", through which a lot of job applications seem to enforce the interest in "equality for women, people with migration background, people with disabilities" etc in the job selection process for skilled workers. In my experience, however, after having applied to over 200 jobs for the past year, and never having gotten one single interview out of them, I would say that these efforts are somewhat conceited. Just to contextualise, I graduated summa cum laude with a Masters degree from one of the country's top universities, and I'm on the fast track to becoming a German citizen, due to "special integration achievements", guaranteed under the new migration law passed early this year.

In this sense, I have noticed that my job prospects in Germany are usually more successful in vocational jobs, where my academic degree or level of German are actually irrelevant, since my first career choice has always been as a performing artist. As I bring The Fool's energy into my own private future reading (this archetype was also drawn for me as my 2024 card), I have been wondering, though, if I should accelerate my plans into moving to London. Just this week, I received a reasonably-paid job offer as a singer in a cruise ship fleet here in Germany, but it has already been delayed and changed twice (!!!). I know that part of this is also because of the current Mercury retrograde cycle, but I can't deny that I've been feeling a great deal of frustration in living in Germany and feeling like no matter how hard I work here, things just don't seem to follow through.

Would you help me understand if I should shift my focus, then, and really keep on applying to jobs in London, if I want to truly honour my vision of moving there?

Namaskar!

Marcelo

Dear Marcelo,

Thank you for your message and question! As for Williamson, the card I pulled for her is the Queen of Cups. She highlights the importance of the arts, counselling, and spirituality, bringing wisdom to her endeavours. The limitation of this card is that the Queen of Cups can be regarded as unrealistic (whether that is the case or not). This means she would be perceived as unprepared for tasks that go beyond her training, such as matters of national security or lacking experience with negotiating foreign affairs. Whether or not she has abilities in those areas, as a Queen of Cups her opponents will shine a light on this perceived lack and prevent her from taking office. As you sense, she does bring a fresh perspective to politics and challenges other candidates to question old approaches to decision-making and undertake a more compassionate way of serving in office. In this way, she represents a feminine engagement ahead of her time. The next generation of politicians who follow the economic approaches of Sanders, Williamson, and others will continue to shine a light on the erosion of the middle class.

For you, I drew the Four of Wands Reversed. If you are on the fast track to becoming a German citizen, this card encourages you to finish what you started before taking the next steps. If you accelerate your plans to move to London and that in any way disrupts your citizenship process in Germany, this can cause problems. Perhaps you already went through this delay. I don't know about immigration in Germany and I am not an immigration or legal expert. I'm sure you are consulting with immigration experts over there, so you will know better than me what your requirements are for completing the next step. For now, if you need to maintain a physical presence in Germany, you may apply to a different stream of jobs, or consider another approach that allows you to finish what you started where you are. Once you have your requirements established, you'll have the option of considering both countries. That's when your opportunities will expand. For now, the 4 of Wands R indicates that there could be a problem if you uproot yourself or leave the community too soon.

This card also validates your feeling of not having enough support where you are, and seeking to find a place where you fit in or feel more at home. Things can feel shaky with the 4 of Wands R, but it is always temporary. I think you're right that if things aren't moving forward, it's time to try another approach and to keep exploring different ways of moving forward. As you know, encountering one obstacle after another can be a sign to consider another way. In this case, the technicalities of acquiring citizenship might mean you have to wait on one of those approaches, but you can try another way of performing until you are free to make that move. You are quite adaptable and flexible, so you're already adept at accepting when something doesn't go as planned and getting creative about pursuing a new goal. This resilient way of being is an asset that will open unusual doors for you that others would never think to go through.

Once you have German citizenship, will you also have EU citizenship? If so (and if you don't have this already), your opportunities as a performer in the EU would open up quite a bit, wouldn't they? Even if you choose to later move to the UK, you'd also be free to travel throughout the EU with your German citizenship, or to return to Germany for an extended period once more opportunities open up. Ironically, it might be once you move to another country that you get an opportunity that is interesting to you as an artist in Germany. It will be up to you if you want to take it or not.

This is all assuming I understand you correctly about your need to be in Germany for now. If the card's reversal isn't indicating you need to be there for completing citizenship requirements, it might be communicating that you need to stay for now due to housing availability or some other practical reason. Either way, there is a delay in getting the exact work you're seeking that might be beyond your control. There is also a reason for that, as it's opening your mind to pursuing other options sooner than you would have otherwise. This card indicates that support and acceptance will be one of the most important considerations in finding your next artistic adventure.

You may find yourself exploring other jobs in Germany for now that are performing arts-adjacent. This card points to working in groups (so that could be the cruise ship or similar opportunity finally coming through for you soon, which you may make a decision about in a few weeks or so as you undergo a shift in consciousness). It could also possibly be related to temporarily teaching or guiding in a way that feels creative to you (perhaps in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or whatever language you most want to perform in; this could be as a singer, or something in the arts that involves movement or dance). This could be you as a professor, whether directing a show or teaching performance or performance art. Perhaps that is later on, as you will have other things to do before long that keep you busy. You may not like that suggestion, so take what you like and leave the rest! Once the next performing arts job comes through, you may just keep the idea of instructing, guiding, or directing on the back burner to know you'll have that to fall back on. It can give you a feeling of security and reassurance, whether you ever decide to see yourself as a professor, theatre director, or in some other creative leadership role in addition to your artistic and musical practise.

It is possible that this vision of you teaching is more about you being a performer AND director which gives you more control over content as well as a broader range of professional choices. You may be doing political theatre in the tradition of Brecht, only with an even more expanded emphasis on song and dance. Perhaps these performances will be in more than one language. The main idea about what area you'll be looking in is that it involves groups, as you can see the figures in the card who are connecting near a structure of four wands.

As for the question of when you'll apply to jobs in London, that depends on how long you need to stay in Germany so you can complete your citizenship requirements (and this is something only an immigration consultant over there would know). If you need to keep a home in that region for now, this card encourages you to take advantage of the citizenship opportunity above all else because 1) it would be much harder to do this later, and 2) you will need it for other opportunities later on that aren't available quite yet. In this way, the card asks you to consider the long game. Once you have established that it's okay to move to another country, there is no reason for you not to apply to jobs in London, and anywhere else that strikes your fancy.

One more thing about this card when it's reversed: it does indicate a job or location transition (or both) which comes from a place of conflict. For you, that conflict has been in the form of blocked paths and also not feeling politically at home in the country where you're living. You're right that these can be indications of taking another path, but the reversal of this card is also a reminder that this citizenship will have value for you, even if it's years from now...and will be worth the wait.

What's great about all this is you have a vision of what you want next, so it is just a matter of time before you make that happen! :)

Wishing you well,

Kyra
