Thank you Kyra for this great post. It's always so interesting and insightful reading about your dreams and interpretations. I know that things are not good with how we are treating this planet but I have a sense of knowing that it will be ok. We are seeing more and more people raise their consciousness and see things in a whole new light. Once we start seeing things more as WE instead of ME then we'll be on the right track. Good luck with your exams!
I'm just checking in to post an update about recent predictive dreams, which I will publish in more detail after my exams. The first dream was about a trip to Tennessee, a place I've never been to before. It took place in the future and I knew that because I was looking for an additional passport that I don't currently own. In this timeline, water had moved onto the land and ocean waves were ebbing and flowing on concrete. The beach was made of concrete instead of sand but visitors were happy about it. This water was regarded as a spectacle, appreciated, and people were enthusiastically vacationing on this inland "beach". There were tourist shoppes and guided hikes surrounding the newly formed beach, which was located in the centre of town.
The second dream I had this week was not as upbeat as the first one about Tennessee. In the main image of this dream, part of San Francisco was mostly submerged in water. The imagery focused on a Victorian house that was in water nearly up to the roof. The water moved around it continuously, presumably with the motions of the wind, but everything under the surface of the ocean was eerily inert. It reminded me of the neighbourhood featured in the opening credits of the 1980s sitcom Full House. The triangle-shaped roof was visible above the lapping ocean that had encroached upon the city. The roof looked like it had rusted, which made me wonder how long ago The Great Flood of San Francisco had transpired. I felt helpless to do anything about this enormous catastrophe that had already taken place.
I wish it was otherwise but my dreams about flooding have been intensifying over the years, and the rising of the ocean that is depicted in my dreams becomes higher in height every year, and now each month. Now they are happening in such close proximity, sometimes more than once a week. In these dreams, it seems like a chain of circumstances has been set in motion that is not only accelerating a shift of land and water, but also having a domino effect that causes one disaster to exacerbate another. I don't know how to explain this phenomenon in technical terms as I am not a scientist. The closest concept I know of might be entropy, although that doesn't necessarily mean that this concept would be at play everywhere or all at once or even that it's an accurate description of what's to come. Overall, it seems like some areas are more protected than others but some places that should have been prepared are coming up short. Everyone is affected but in different ways and to varying degrees.
I have noticed in my own past experience with recording these experiences that when predictive dreams of the same theme occur with increased frequency, those circumstances tend to happen very soon. For instance, I've seen in my dreams a gradual unfolding of glacial melt will have a quicker and higher rise of sea levels than anticipated.
Regardless of what may happen, it is still and will always be necessary to fight for the best world possible, no matter what our starting point may be in the future. As of now I would recommend getting close to your spiritual practise, whether that's prayer and meditation or something else that works for you. Psychological health will be highly valued in the future, even in near-future times, and much more so than credit scores or car brands—or any brands, for that matter.
What is about to happen for the rest of this year and especially in 2023 will be shocking, unprecedented, and is going to radically change our way of life. The tornadoes and hurricanes in 2023 seem particularly amplified in the US, and these events will bring about more climate action.
Keep in mind as you go through these times, as we navigate this together, that the world is being forced to change. Mother Earth is reclaiming her space. If those in power don't act to protect nature, nature will protect itself in an attempt to survive. It's unfortunate that there will be losses and tragic that all of this could have been avoided. Those tragedies and losses that we will be witnessing is something that should be prepared for so more of us can stay stable enough to be of help those who are suffering during this environmental transition. What we are seeing in Pakistan is abut to happen elsewhere. Fossil fuels simply have to end, and they will but if it happens voluntarily we can preserve civilisation. If it happens involuntarily, the challenges and losses will be much greater. Billions could be displaced and food/water insecure. Therefore, climate actions and even civil disobedience will be necessary and also inevitable.
If you have a spiritual practise, a connection with something beyond the material world, and a higher purpose in the form of some kind of service, you will be prepared for this next and most alarming (but also, for some, possibly adventurous and certainly transformative) phase of human existence.
I will write more as soon as I can, and I am looking forward to sharing details about the first dream with you, as I want to emphasise that it left me with an immensely positive feeling. If you are looking to analyse your dreams, notice the feeling you have when you wake up. Emotions are one of the clues to the meaning of a dream you just woke up from. Meditation or prayer or thoughts of gratitude before I go to sleep have helped me with dream recall and contributes to increased relaxation, ease, creativity, strength, and positivity throughout the next day.
