I recently had a dream about a mass shooting. Based on your criteria, I do not feel it’s precognitive, but given it’s related, I’ll share. I at my current age was in a 4 door sedan that was not my car in real life. I’m in the drivers seat, but I’m watching myself as in a movie. I’m parked somewhere public. Like an open shopping center as opposed to a mall. It’s a nice place paved with pavers with different levels and steps. Suddenly Bullets shoot out from my left “offscreen”. I don’t know who is shooting but based on the way the bullets are spraying it seems like an automatic weapon.. I’m still parked in the car. I follow the bullets with my eye and see it hits a pedestrian to the right of my car. I don’t really see their face, just that they fall. I crouch down in my seat to try to avoid getting shot. At this moment. My late father, looking how I remember him most recently when alive, reaches from the seat right behind me and locks my car door which was apparently unlocked. It felt protective. I didn’t talk but sort of mind connected with my father that he needed to crouch too but he didn’t seem afraid almost defiant or stubborn of my urging but I believe he did eventually crouch down. I feel at some point maybe when looking at my dad and realizing he was there my view became first person. After this I woke up. No one else was in the car, I don’t know why my dad sat behind me. I took it to be either me working through his death (he died just 2 years ago) or a message that he is protecting me. We had a challenging relationship, but I loved him a lot. I was his only child and like a golden child to a detrimental fault (over attached and co dependent) to him but we struggled a lot due to his mental health and personality issues. This dream came at a time I was while awake having some premonitions. I was definitely caught off guard by the dream ans felt some fear. I feel the car was maybe my dads car, which I didn’t sell yet.

Dani, thank you for sharing your dream. The part about your dad being there to protect you has some of the qualities of a visitation. He was looking out for you, and even though he inhabited the physical space of the car, he was not afraid despite the dangerous circumstances unfolding outside the vehicle. I have heard of dreams involving vehicles and even motorcycles that also feature loved ones who crossed over. Depending on the meaning of cars to you, a vehicle can signify the body and if he was there with you in the car, he is here with you on the physical plane in some way, which could be that he protects you. Perhaps you have already thought of this but it might be interesting to explore your connection to your dad and cars, especially if there was a car you shared or that he guided you towards. He clearly adored you and you stuck by him despite the challenges he faced. In this dream, he wants to look out for you and it is clear that in some ways, you were looking out for him, too, by understanding and having compassion about what he was going through in life. Since the car is not one you have in real life, the circumstances surrounding the vehicle, such as the mass shooting, can be interpreted as more symbolic than literal. The loss of a loved one is painful and it can have the impact of a traumatic event. Sometimes dreams will translate that trauma into an emotionally congruent or similar experience. For instance, if your unconscious mind is processing the loss as being similar to the impact of witnessing or even being surrounded by a violent event, your dream will help you process that grief by providing an analogy or alternative narrative. Your unconscious mind knows exactly how to help you work through it. Overall, the message about your dad locking the door for you is a loving gesture that can remind you he is here with you. It is possible he was behind you because you are now driving the car, as you are the one moving your body forward in time. Even though he is not driving the car, perhaps because you have more agency on the physical plane, he has been right there behind you all along, has never left the vehicle you inhabit, and will continue to be with you on this journey.

Thank you, I love your take. It's similar to my feelings. The one thing is (which I kind of stuck haphazardly at the end there) is that I felt like the car I was sitting in may have been my dad's car which is sitting in my driveway, still in his name. I have been finally looking into selling it recently. I had trouble selling it previously because it's really the last larger physical item I have connected to him. A separate but seemingly related strange thing once happened in real life. My 2 yo daughter likes to sit in his car and pretend she is driving. Once I was sitting in the drivers seat when she was just around 2 or just before she turned 2 years old and she was on my lap. My eyes welled up a little sitting there while she played because I was thinking of my dad. She didn't see or hear that I was emotional.. Suddenly she stopped playing and pat my leg twice and said "I see you". I instantly thought it was him speaking through her. It was so out of the ordinary for her to say and not in line with her preoccupation with playing. It makes me feel more connected to the car although I don't use it. It makes me hesitate to sell it, but I know he'd want me to sell it as it's not being used. It was all very odd to me.

Yes, young children have an open conduit to connecting with the spirit world (some tend to more than others). She was definitely giving you a message, and in doing so, brought forth the spirit of your father not only for you but for herself, too, as she clearly connects with him and perhaps ancestors in her own way. She was giving him a voice at a time when you were open to hearing it and she was available to receive the message.

I am not psychic nor do I have predictive dreams. I wish I did. But I feel compelled to record for posterity an extremely vivid dream I had a few months ago about a Russian submarine sinking. When I woke up I even remembered the name as "Novobirsk" which was such a specific detail that I actually looked it up. There apparently is a Russian nuclear submarine called Novosibirsk. I am quite unsettled by this. I am not Russian, nor do I know anything much about Russia at all, or the military.

Thank you for sharing your dream, Julianne. I find it helps to record details like you did with that name, as when it shows up in future news I can search for the name and read other details in the dream to see if they provide insight about current events or, possibly, further predictions.

Kyra, this is either a literal bank/Chase bank dream, isn't it, or maybe a run on the banks? Chase/run being similar. Or is there another interpretation? I loved this post, thank you.

Jessica, I love your interpretation of a run on the banks. That makes sense to me. As I know you've experienced before, there can be multiple meanings in not only psychic readings but also dreams. I wouldn't be surprised if it is about banks in general and also a particular bank incident, both of which could be transpiring at or around the same time. I am anticipating a major banking change and the panic I felt coming from others in the dream might be not only within the confines of an event but also general panic and confusion/frozen assets (as people froze in the bank within the dream) as our economic system shifts into another form.*

Another detail of the dream, which I just remembered as I meditated on it more, was that between opening the bank doors and raising his gun into the air, the shooter was looking at cars in a next-door but connected Honda dealership. Then he turned away from the cars, apparently bored with them, and proceeded to reveal his gun. Prior to this dream, there were makeshift fires and campsites outside the bank and throughout this neighbourhood. It felt like a different world from today, but only slightly, and not too far into the future. The feeling of the dream outdoors and prior to when I entered the bank was one of excitement, opportunity, transformation, and a new world. Feelings, especially those we wake up with after a dream, are important to note when interpreting the meaning of a dream.

Could this have to do with the Canadian trucker protest in Ottawa? Very cold there. The Canadian government froze the funds of donations raised. They also froze the bank accounts of people involved and even regular people who donated as little as $50 over the internet. It's an extreme over reach of power. Just today Jordan Peterson put out a video saying that he was informed by a trusted source in the Canadian military that if he was smart he would take his money out of the bank. Perhaps a bank run incoming or more authoritarian measures in the banking system.

Hi Jason, It did occur to me that this dream included frozen customers in the bank, possibly in Toronto, who could not move and there was a freezing of accounts in that area this month. So that could be one predictive meaning. I am also thinking about the sanction of Russian assets taking place this week, another cold region experiencing banking restrictions. I find that predictive dreams often work on multiple levels, so please post again if you notice any additional interpretations where this predictive dream parallels future news. Thanks for reading.

One more thing, I just read your comment above where you said "Prior to this dream, there were makeshift fires and campsites outside the bank and throughout this neighbourhood. It felt like a different world from today, but only slightly, and not too far into the future. The feeling of the dream outdoors and prior to when I entered the bank was one of excitement, opportunity, transformation, and a new world"

This was the exact scene to a T at the protest in Ottawa. I was watching the livestreams coming out in the days leading up to last Saturday when the crackdown occurred. For the 3 weeks prior to that people were camped out in the streets with makeshift fires. It was a different world but only slightly and not far into the future after your dream. The feeling was of excitement, opportunity, transformation, and a new world...this was an exact match. People were describing it as having an overwhelming vibe of unity and love almost like being at a festival. This really matches up from my point of view. Looking forward to more of your posts.
