I am starting off the new year with a new series, “Psychic Stories and Studies”. This series identifies and explores case studies of metaphysical events in a quest to strengthen and expand psychic abilities. These posts gather stories from historical sources and personal experiences that taught me how to use my intuition more intentionally. The anecdotes, observations, and methods from this series can potentially support your interest in supernatural phenomena or deepen your own intuitive development.
Today’s post begins with a short psychic story from my own life, followed by reflections on how this experience helped me to identify one of the differences between intuition and imagination.

I was bringing a rolling backpack full of wrapped presents which I was pulling with extra force as the snow was high and the paths had not been fully cleared. Yet for some reason, I had an impulse to keep walking to the next bus stop. This instinct didn’t make sense as the transit app estimated that the bus was about to arrive in a couple of minutes. I don’t know how else to describe it, but the trees looked friendly to me that day as if the branches transformed into open arms. I pulled my heavy backpack behind me, walked for a while through the opening of the woods, and arrived at the next bus stop, which was directly in front of a lake. The water was frozen and on top of the ice, a sign read: “Danger: Keep Off”…
