News Predictions: Your Questions
Thank you to everyone who submitted questions about news predictions. If I didn't get to your question, I either didn't pick up on an answer, or it might be included in a future post.
In response to the most recent post on climate change...
Q. It's not that I don't believe in climate change, it's just that I don't have kids and I'm too old to be around when things get worse anyway. Not that it's the nicest thing to say, but why should I care?
You care enough to ask, so thank you for that. I will start to answer this question with a riddle:
Q. What is one action you can take where you pay nothing but gain the world? (Warning: This action may result in confidence, friendship, feelings of being admired, and/or the discovery of a higher purpose. Common side effects include: Feeling good about yourself, looking good to the world, and being good to your future.)
A. Environmental action.
Reducing the suffering of others can help us gain perspective that diminishes our own suffering. We are all connected as one collective human family. As the remarkably fortunate recipients of life, the least we can do is pay it forward by improving, protecting, and potentially extending the lives of future generations.
Perhaps by contributing to a healthier planet, we will even have more time, energy, and resources for medical science to someday eliminate physical suffering altogether. One of the symptoms of my genetic disorder is a severe heat intolerance. I am personally committed to doing whatever I can to minimise the effects of global warming, as increasingly harsh weather conditions would threaten my survival more quickly than that of the average person. Perhaps this disorder is ultimately providential if it gives me a heightened motivation to join with others who want to take positive steps toward reducing climate change.
At this pivotal juncture in the history of time, the accomplishments, dreams and cumulative love of hundreds of thousands of years of human existence and billions of years of life as a planet will either be abandoned or advanced. Our current lifetime grants us each a gift: the opportunity to pass the torch in perhaps a more critical and urgent way than any previous era throughout the history of time. May that torch not light the future aflame, but instead lead the way for those who will live, love, and learn for many generations to come. The quality of how descendants of the future get to do that depends on the quantity of our actions today.

P.S. Also, reincarnation. If you don't believe in transmigration, please refer to the reasons above again.
I have multiple interpretations in mind for this piece, but one of the most relevant to our conversation today would be: This painting predicts that humanity's awakening to its need for Earth will be at the same moment when it seems to be dying. The awakening part of humanity (embryo within the skull, emerging from Earth) is present and capable, even if the eyes of the main figure are closed and in denial. A third figure awaits, upside-down, between the awakening and denying aspects of collective humanity. Some will always be in denial about climate change, but this image indicates that the third part, those who are still in the process of awakening, are crucial to helping lift us out of a potential environmental disaster. Q. Any more images of what you see coming up in the next week or month in future news?
I see the signing of an important and historically consequential document by Trump.
Paul Ryan refuses to comment on a crucial matter when confronted by the press, using silence to avoid repercussions of his involvement in what will be called a "scheme". This "scheme" which includes a "banking scheme" will be referred to in near-future media as "captivating" and "breathtaking" in its scope.
Various media sources will repeatedly accuse members of the current administration of "aiding and abetting".
Private media sources uncover evidence of multiple foreign contributions from hostile powers made to the Trump presidential campaign in 2016.
I see an impression of a gun incident or shooting in or around Louisville, Kentucky or a place whose name sounds like "Louisville" connected to the words "6 weeks".
A somewhat spontaneous "hug-in" anti-war music festival becomes known for its rare form of protest.
A baseball game featuring a world record.
Meg Ryan makes a career comeback.
I have a visual impression of a yellow bird tearing apart a Twitter cloud, and a lot of people crying around it.
Q. What do you think the Russians did that interfered with this election, and how did that change anything?
A. Bob, I see the attack on the general presidential elections as being on multiple fronts. The images I see are: Putin-sponsored manipulation of electronic voting information prior to transmitting the results to media, machine tampering carried out by Russian officials from within the United States, and the hiring of social media manipulators who attempted to influence votes through online postings and interaction. The latter changed the way some people voted, and the former manipulated some of the results.
You also mention the primary Democratic elections. This is still an emotionally raw topic for many, so if anyone reading this is not comfortable with looking back on the events of the Democratic primaries, please feel free to skip to the next question.
I have an image of social media trolls being hired by Russian officials from early in 2016 up until the primary elections and beyond. Posts from Russian-generated sources attempted to persuade on-the-fence voters to believe that if they unified behind Clinton instead of any other candidate, a Trump presidency could be avoided. As Sanders' crowd sizes grew, hired social media trolls worked overtime, pretending to be US voters by communicating through fake accounts. These actors playing "voters" admonished Sanders supporters for refusing to vote for Clinton in the primaries, later blaming Sanders for supposedly tarnishing Clinton's reputation and hurting her chances in the general elections. The protection of Clinton's reputation was one of the justifications for pressuring Sanders to withdraw his candidacy prior to the Democratic National Convention. I want to be clear that what I'm talking about is not trolling coming from the Clinton campaign. I perceive the influences to have been Russian officials hired by Putin who later worked in conjunction with parts of the Trump campaign. Putin saw Sanders' growing following as a real threat to his ultimate objectives. My point is that I don't think the social media manipulation only began after the primaries.
You also mention the DNC being exposed in "colluding to deny Sanders any chance at becoming president". I don't think you're wrong to connect the two subjects. The common thread here seems to be about influencing elections, and I believe that happened both at the primary and general levels in 2016, although in different ways and generated by different groups. Did the DNC collude to deny Sanders a chance? Yes, Bob, I think you'd be right in saying that. From what I can see, it looks like there was a two-front attack on the Sanders campaign. More will be revealed about that soon. I wrote more news predictions about Democratic primary election fraud and DNC superdelegate issues in a post from March 12th, 2016.
Previous Post's Preview Question
Q: What do you see happening with North Korea and the missiles they keep launching?
A. Helen, I see an image of the candy "red hots". I see Kim Jong-Un wanting to create an ongoing fear by periodically launching test missiles. There will be more missed missiles falling into the ocean before one hits on land-yet even that one misses its intended target. You can also refer to a previous post about 2017 predictions for more details regarding war, escalating conflicts, and news predictions for Southeast Asia.
